Is Kept free?

Yes. Kept is free, with no ads.

Do I need an account?

No. You can save and search without signing in; everything stays on your phone. Sign in with Google or Apple when you want to back up your saves and use them on more than one device.

Which apps does it work with?

Any app with a Share button, including Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, Reddit, X, Facebook, Pinterest, Threads and every web browser. On iPhone, if you don't see Kept in the share sheet, tap "More" and turn it on.

Does Kept download the videos?

No. Kept saves the link with its title, thumbnail and your notes, and opens the original in its app when you tap it. If the original post is deleted by its creator, the link will stop working, but your title, note and tags stay in Kept.

Which phones are supported?

iPhone and Android. Your saves sync between them when you sign in with the same account.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, go to Settings → Delete account. It permanently deletes your account and every save. See Delete your account for other options.
